We must not allow political parties to cause us to lose sight of humanity and the cause of Christ. Above all, we as Christians are called to love God and to love others. Support whatever party the Spirit leads you to support out of your personal convictions, but please don’t call it the party of God.
The One Who Sees Me (Hagar’s Story): A Story of Slavery or Liberation?
We should “see” people that many in society may walk by, ignore, and even persecute, the homeless man on the corner, the immigrant next door…We have to open our eyes to see, truly “see,” people the way God sees them regardless of their marginalized identities and in the midst of their humanity.
