Hello! Welcome to my site!

Deirdre Jonese Austin, 23-years-old, is a healer, storyteller, and justice seeker. She aspires to live a life committed to a radical love ethic as she works towards healing and wholeness through good theology, research, direct action, and policy. Her calling is to explore the ways in which healing can be facilitated in and through the Black Baptist Church, and her organizing principle for this season of her life is to learn the ways in which liturgical dance can be used to facilitate healing for black women from personal and racial trauma. Join Jonese as she grows in knowledge and experience as it relates to the intersections of faith, race, politics, and justice.
